 Rain...

What could he say that would make everything that had happened in his current life become a blur? What could he do to revert back time itself? He couldn't...and he knew that all his power could do nothing to stop this tragedy. His head felt heavy as his hands held onto the child's limp body tightly. "Ami..." He mumbled through the tears streaming down his cheeks. It was his child that was caught in his arms...and he knew not what to do. His heart continued to beat fastly, his hands soaked in the downpour of rain that was always seen in Amegakure...the rain that seemed to always appear during the worst parts of one's life. The child had a smile upon her face, a gentle gleaming in her lifeless eyes that were left agape.

Laying her body on the ground beside him, Goveta's eyes looked up towards the group of Ame-nin. "Shinra Tensei - Divine Judgment!" Goveta howled into the night sky, his hand reaching its way out towards the ninja that stood across from him. Their bodies came flying towards him, and were met with a sudden lunging forth of a creature from behind Goveta. A large, and ferrel looking beast came forth, it's mouth left wide open, and its teeth visible. Smiling, Goveta's body lunged itself backtwards, sicking the creature towards the ninja. Within an instant, the bodies landed upon the ground harshly, some skull's cracking and backs breaking. Stepping over towards them, Goveta make sure to crush each and every one of their skulls within his own hand, even those who were still alive. They had killed his baby, killed his child, and they made sure to do it after they had killed his wife and unborn son. Uchiha Goveta was no longer the protector of the peace....his heart was filled with so much hatred, that he just could not do that anymore.

His head flung up into the sky, as he let out an ear ringing shril. His tear filled eyes opened slightly, just to see a meteor shooting through the sky. Was it a rare sight for him to see such a thing on this night? Was there a purpose behind it? Either way, Goveta could not think straight enough to comprehend anything going on. His hands resting at his sides once again, he flung them down once again, with more chakra exploding outward from his body, his screams of anger and pain resonating all throughout Amegakure. Buildings and houses fell to ruins from the immense power coming from the Uchiha's voice. With the last of his strength, Goveta made sure to leave a memorial behind of where he stood for his family. Placing his wife in first, followed by Ami, Goveta's tears fell down off of his face and plastered themselves upon their already drenched clothing. "Sleep my angels......I will join you soon...." Goveta spoke as his voice continually stopped and stuttered. It was a hard moment for him. As he stood up to walk away, his eyes suddenly glared open, and fell down to his knees. Before him, stood a creature that he could not make eye contact with, but he could tell that this man meant something of utter importance to him. This man had a strange cloak, one that Goveta had worn. With red flames coming up the bottom of it, and it being white in color, Goveta's mind continued to race back and around looking for the answers that he was searching for.

His eyes rolled into the back of his head, as his vision became more blurred. He couldn't tell what was going on....but he knew that for once, he was at peace, and that his mind could finally sleep.

His mind was at ease once again. His breathing was slowed down, and his eyes were shut. To him, this moment was of sheer bliss, pain and worry free. He knew not of his surroundings or anything going on, only memories of his past flashed before his eyes.

His eyes opened to see a little girl standing before him. Her little footsteps trying to draw closer to his body, her gentle voice echoing daddy with every step she drew closer to him. A tear floated down his eyes, as he awoke in a much darker room, in a spectral realm that he had only been in a few times.

"Goveta..." The spectral creature spoke out towards him, its teeth glaring and showing off towards the Uchiha. Goveta was struck back. He didn't know what to respond or say back, but before he could say anything, his mind continued to race and race off. He couldn't stay long enough in a memory to say anything...but they were all there. His memory of Aoiri holding onto Kazuki when he was little....the first time Ami walked towards him...and when he had returned home from his exile. The memories meant nothing to him, and it was only after a few seconds that he realized.....he had no idea who these people were.

His eyes glancing open, burning from what seemed to be ultraviolet light, the Uchiha's eyes looked up at the white cloaked man. Reaching into his ninpack, located right below his waist, the Uchiha pulled out a three-pronged kunai. "This yours?" He responded slyly, questioning the man before him. Making a quick hand sign, his clothing changed to the Akatsuki robes that he had worn before in his past, and that he was wearing now...

Well, that had been an interesting sight to say the least. Aiuya merely laughed at the man's anguish over the body that lay in his arms, and the way he controlled his emotions and took it out on the shinobi before him made her laugh to no end. Such pitiful people, so controlled by their emotions... It was sick, really. Emotions were nothing to Aiuya, unless they involved sadism and some sort of bloodshed. Then again, anything that involved bloodshed was Aiuya's prime. Nonetheless, the way he treated the shinobi presented before him intrigued her. So very precise with such an absolute-seeming technique... the cracking of their backs, the crushing of their skulls, it just send that eerie feeling before her... Perhaps someday she'd have to learn to crush people's skulls.

Her version of death seemed a lot different; hers involved more bloodshed, more spatters, and yet most of the time, she got none on herself. Then again, if she were to do so, that would allow people to track; learning the anatomy of humans after being gone for so many years had allowed her to be able to. Most blood spatters went the same way, and when you were a ruthless, uncaring woman like Aiuya who could lure in victims like a plague, you tended to pick up on your mistakes and the habits of people. Battling with the same blade for so long - her prized possession, that crimson-red blade she always carried - allowed you to become more precise with it. Her butcher's knife was beautiful, too.

Watching the anguish of the unnamed man before her, she decided that perhaps it could be time for her to take a little stroll... The man seemed rather distraught at his loss, whatever the loss itself may be. It was just a life; who really cared? Aiuya had felt no contempt, no guilt, nothing, the day she'd taken the lives of her parents. If she'd had the chance, Shiori and Sasai would've been dead, too. Of course, Aiuya hadn't wanted to stick around to be caught and probably executed. She wouldn't have been here now to witness the obvious mental and emotional pain this man was in, the anguish that seemed to overcome him like a plague... It was all too interesting for the former Leaf kunoichi.

Her hair wet by the rain yet still sticking to her face in that lustful way, she walked out from where she was, behind the man, and started to walk away in a backwards fashion. She wanted to see more of this, to see what other anguish he might experience; she could possibly learn something of it. She'd done no wrong here - as of yet, anyways - and she dared not. To her knowledge and what she'd heard from other places, Amegakure no Sato had been ravaged by war, and in her opinion, it was mostly neanderthals that resided there. The man before her struck her as quite the brute, and probably quite a bit melodramatic, too. Ah, well, whatever, pitiful beings will be pitiful as always.

Slowly, she continued to walk away, hoping to avoid notice...

Before he could say another word, the man vanished from his sight. The one being who he thought might have understood had vanished into thin air. The Uchiha looked down at the ground for a moment, his body tensing up with anger and fury that he had held in for what seemed so long. Standing back up, and erect, Goveta's eyes looked onward into the distance to see a female kunoichi. He was in no mood to ask questions, no mood to think before he acted. It was not going to be this woman's day, and she was probably going to pay for it.

His short, spiked hair floated in the breeze that started to blow in harshly from the north. His forehead protector, with the line scratched through the leaf symbol, became more visible by the sudden illumination of the sky. His arm flung open towards the woman, and he counted silently to himself. "Three....Two....." He thought. He was counting down the time he had until his attack would be usable again. Laughing, his palm stretched open towards her. "Banshou Tenin - All Creation Attraction!" He exhaled with his strength.

The female had no option of what her body was about ready to do. Smiling, Goveta watched as she was quickly, and violently flung through the air towards him. His hand still outstretched, he would wait until she drew closer to him. Noticing that she was within hearing distance, Goveta laughed, "You ready?" His attack already prepared, Goveta immediately went on the offensive. "Dai Endan - Great Fireball!" Goveta shouted, his body lunging itself forward and into the air within the moment of the fire's release from his gullet.

While his attack was going on, something was moving beneath the ground. The female was about ready to fight the man who had killed so many in his past, who had served as a General for Konoha in the Azai War...who had learned so many techniques...but to Goveta, none of this had happened before...

It was worse than he thought. Minato now stood atop a high tree branch not far from the area he heard the commotion occur and what he saw was nothing short of disturbing. There stood an old friend holding the body of his slaughtered little girl; such a cruel fate for a child and an even crueler fate for her father. A righteous fury seemed to bubble up from the depths of his soul and his eyes burned with a blistering rage but before he could unleash his anger upon the ones responsible, he noticed the demeanor in his old friend take a turn for the violent side. In a flashing display of malice, the younger man turned upon the assailants in front of him and annihillated them with a crushingly powerful technique Minato had only seen once before this point; the Shinra Tensei. Rumored to be a jutsu passed down from the almighty Rikudou Sennin, this attack manipulates the gravitational pull upon an object with the user's immense chakra and sends the object or victim hurtling away from the user with crushing force. Minato stood in awe as he continued to watch the brutality unfold and he had to pick his jaw up off the ground when it finally came to a silent halt. Amazing... was all the legendary hokage could mouth as he wondered at the carnage below him. Noticing that the action had finally ceased, he leapt down to the ground just in time to see his old friend create a monument for his fallen loved ones and then fall to the ground himself. Goveta....I'm sorry I wasn't there....it seems like even the great Yellow Flash isnt fast enough to save everyone.... he lamented as he looked at the Uchiha's disheveled form. His white pristene coat billowed softly in the cool breeze as the rain kissed his porcelin face, masking the soft tears he shed for the deceased and for his colleague's current plight. He had known Aoiri well and had seen her love for Goveta grow into a beautiful flowering romance, and in the other vice versa. It pained him now to see their fate turn ugly and dark like the mud in which the poor boy now lay at his feet. Truly a tragic end.....

Minato was just about to pick the young man up when he detected the faint traces of space-time particles floating in the atmosphere around them and he warped away to the branch where he once stood thanks to the kunai he had left there. 'There that stuff is again,' he thought to himself as he pondered what it was. Before his eyes, Goveta suddenly began to change and his appearance steadily altered and grew younger till he had become no older than a late teenager. Minato marveled at the phenomenon and was just about to leap down once more to his friend's side when he sensed the presence of another person in the vicinity. Minato ducked into a nearby patch of bushes and instantly masked his chakra and existance to intangible levels and looked on as a kunoichi of unknown origin began to scope out his friend's brutal work. He watched her and heard her mutter something to herself as she began to retreat out of sight, obviously not wanting to be seen by any one in the area. That's when things began to get exciting. In a flash, Goveta had leapt up and used yet another Rikudou technique to send the rogue kunoichi flying towards him. He then prepped another tech, more of the fire type in nature, and sent it streaking straight towards her. This is getting interesting.... Minato mused softly to himself, without fear of being heard due to the sheer volume of the shinobi in front of him as they fought. Perhaps it would be prudent to just wait in the wings; perhaps he could witness more of the elusive space-time particles' power at work on the body and abilities of his old friend. Regardless of the outcome, he knew just from a third person glance, this was going to be one Hell of a fight.

What had come towards her, or rather, what she was coming towards was much more than she had expected. Within moments, her body was flying violently through the air towards the man she'd been observing, and she noted that creepy laugh. It reminded her of her own, and in response, she smiled, not a regular smile, but a sick, twisted, and sadistic one. Good thing she wasn't a masochist.

When she was about a quarter of the distance towards him, he was flying back into seals, and suddenly there was a large Katon fireball hurtling towards her! She had something in her arsenal, but would that work? Well, it wouldn't hurt to try, surely, and as the distance slowly closed between the fireball and her, at a much quicker rate than she might've expected, she was flying into her own seals.

"Hari Jizou!"

Suddenly, her hair grew around her in a sort of pointed shield, covering most of her body in a protected, sharp shell, coating the length of her body as the fireball hurtled around her. She could feel the heat on her skin, yes, and it was a little painful, but it was better than having the burns that would've been caused otherwise. Her hair would be fine, as she'd just enhanced it with her chakra, but she'd feel the pain of the heat later, that was for sure. It seemed this man wasn't going to play games, but she thought back for a second... Remembering just a small flash of blonde that she recognized just barely. It had only been there for a second, but she could've sworn it was the Yondaime Hokage! But that wasn't possible; the man had sacrificed his life twelve years or so ago; Aiuya had only been four at the time, and was lucky to be alive after the Kyuubi's attack, but still, how could he possibly be alive? It simply didn't seem possible. Nonetheless... Perhaps it was an illusion, a trick of her mind, to think she was truly going to be outdone by that man.

As the fireball finally roared its way out and became nothingness, Aiuya stood, with her protective shell of hair around her still, and laughed. It rang through the air like a dark, ominous cloud, with a sick ring to it. It was a feminine chuckle, yes, but it seemed to have a sick and sadistic twist to it, much like the smile that had flashed across her face earlier. Not trusting to take it down, she left her shield of hair up and talked past the strands that protected her.

"Is it some sort of retarded hobby of yours to take out any random bystanders who're simply watching over the situation around you? I thought they taught you that innocent bystanders are innocent," she lamented, being hypcritical. She couldn't really take much room to speak; she'd take out a random man running a shop if he even blinked at her. If it breathed and she was in one of her moods, she'd bloodily take it out. The thoughts of her father and mother ran through her mind, and she smiled. Oh, how now she was getting into such a mood... Too bad there weren't any 'innocent' bystanders nearby. She surely would've taken them out if that had been the case...

His eyes glarred back at the woman before him. She was not going to be an easy kill, but she was still going to be a kill. She spoke towards him, but Goveta decided it was best to focus on the other thing at the time being: That being, the man that was there moments before. If his thoughts were true, then it would be the Fourth Hokage that was there before him...and that would mean that the man would be able to show him what he desired the most. But before he could search for him, he would have to end the female before him.

He smirked at her, and her appearance before he disappeared from sight. Her defensive attack was a nice one, but one that he had seen before from the Toad Sage. His hands making another hand seal, Goveta was about ready to speak as he used his attack. "A shinobi's life brings both hatred and sorrow..." Govets started to speak before he acted. His body started to faze in and out from existance for a moment, before the kunai that laid before the Fourth Hokage's feet appeared in Goveta's hand. He smirked at the man, the kunai twirling around his hand before he threw it towards the kunoichi. His body moved with great agility towards the kunai. And, while his body was unable to activate the right upon the kunai, it was clear that the Uchiha was close. Gathering momentum and speed, Goveta started to flip himself around in the air, drawing ever so closer to the female, before he unleashed his attack.

His hand flung itself towards his right side. Wrapping his left hand around his right wrist, his arm was suddenly covered in a blue, mist-like electrical current. The chirping of birds started to cover the area, masking the attack that was coming towards the girl. "Raikiri - Lightning Blade!" Goveta harked into the sky, the lightning bouncing from around and behind him. It's arc pattern was truly amazing for someone that was the age Goveta was now. His attack charging towards the female, Goveta let out a loud growl that seemed to come forth from his body. Driving forward, and pushing his body forward, a sudden lurking came over him. His pupil's became dialated and slitted, the Sharingan eyes becoming a bit more maroon in color, the tomoe shaping and forming into an elongated form.

As he drew closer to the female, a sudden bursting forth of red chakra came out...a tail forming from his body.

[[-grumbles about breaking posting order- Dx]]

A shinobi's life brings hatred and sorrow? Cheesy words coming from a fairly lame-seeming man, in Aiuya's eyes. Perhaps he was one of Konoha's ANBU, she wasn't sure, but hell, this guy seemed to be getting on her nerves a little... Well, more than a little. He seemed so cheesy and so weak in his emotions; it almost made Aiuya laugh. Retracting her shield of hair, she seemed to have reacted just in time; a kunai was flying her way, and while she now couldn't see the man, she was barely able to catch flickers of him as he moved closer. Reflex took over as she instinctively leaped to the side, avoiding the kunai, but that didn't seem to be what the real attack was.

And for her, it might've been too late if her reflexes hadn't been quick enough. She saw it all coming, yes, in her eyes, but her body couldn't quite respond as quickly as she might have liked. As she attempted to leap once again towards the side, the kunai completely out of range of her by now, her arm was caught in the attack; luckily, it was only a graze, but it still hurt, and she could feel the electric shock numbing the area. That wasn't good; there would probably be some sort of nerve damage just from that, and Aiuya could tell that. She'd been trained as a bit of a medical kunoichi in her younger years, which made things a little better in battle situations.

What surprised her, however, was the tail that graced her sight. No way. Aiuya remembered the Kyuubi attack; she'd only been fourteen at the time, but she could still remember it, remembering cowering with her family, while she herself was wishing she could be out there to see the dead bodies that would grace the streets. So, there was no feasable way this could be the jinchuuriki Uzumaki Naruto; he was simply too old! Besides, Aiuya remembered seeing him as blonde, not with black hair! None of this made sense, not at all, but she was sure that the single tail reminded her of the Kyuubi. How could he possibly... No. Something wasn't adding up, and Aiuya didn't particularly like it.

Noting that she had a bit of movement in her arm, enough for seals, Aiuya thought it best to perhaps counter some of what this man seemed to be throwing at her. Biting her thumb, she flew into seals and drew the blood across a seal on her forearm, and with a poof and a small puff of smoke, in her hand was an iron folding fan, better known as a Tessen, which she hurled at the man so that it flew in a boomerang fashion. What went rather unnoticed, however, was the dual set of blades she pulled out as well, two Tai Chi swords, and as she landed, she held one out towards the man, the other resting downwards with the point towards the ground.

"Prick," she muttered. "Hatred and sorrow are part of this world. Get over it. Perhaps laugh about it... It's probably a better way to get rid of it." That sickly smile graced her visage once again, her eyes truly reflecting her insanity then. And then she began to chuckle, chuckle at this man before her, who seemed to think that innocent bystanders were much less innocent... Ironically, it reminded Aiuya of herself. Of course, she'd continue to be hypocritical if it meant saving her own ass. Perhaps if she could kill this man, things would be much easier... And the world would probably be much happier, too.

The Uchiha would let out another growl of hatred at the female's words. How could she say those things? His eyes stared blankly back towards her, examining every inch and spec of her being. His eyes pierced through her skin, and into her soul, into her chakra...and he could tell that she was obviously hypocritical. She was just like the rest of the people in this world. The people that had mocked him when he was younger, the people who had called him a demon. She spoke of things and promises that would never become a reality. To Goveta, she was the reason for his distraught. The Uchiha looked onward at her, noticing that his attack had struck her, and her next move being a summoning. His feet scrawling back against the ground a few feet, Goveta prepared himself for the oncoming attack.

His teeth grew more fierce as they gritted and grinded against each other as his gaze stared towards her. His nails grew a bit longer, his body slowly giving in more and more to the Demonic Kitsune chakra that was overflowing within him. His eyes caught sight of the fan flying towards him, and his attention immediately focused towards that. It was meant to be an offensive measure, he was sure of it. His hand outstretched towards the fan, Goveta let out a wicked smile. "Shinra Tensei - Divine Judgment!" He harked, the unrecognizable force eminating itself outward from his body and repelling the fan away from him and into a far off area from the battlefield. Looking back at the woman, Goveta's eyes became a bit more slit and cat-like in appearance as he noticed the blades in her hands.

Goveta's head flung itself backwards. A sudden ear shrilling howl was released from within his vocal range, seeming to grow stronger the moment it was released. The ground began to quake beneath his and the female's feet. The tree trunk that Minato leaned against started to crack apart. The firery red chakra cloak that covered Goveta's body started to burn into a much more darker, maroon color as another tail began to form.

"Let the living die..." The voice spoke up from within him. Goveta had heard the voice before, but for one to be certain, Goveta took another step closer to the sealed iron gate that stood before him in this spectral realm. "You're still grieving..." The voice spoke up again, as two giant, fox eyes appeared from behind the gate. Goveta looked confused onward at the creature, and paused a moment before he spoke up.

"I know you...you are the Yang Kyuubi, I remember...I sealed you..." Goveta spoke up, to the Kyuubi's agreement. The Kitsune spoke nothing towards the young Uchiha, weary of the eyes that the young man possessed, instead he stayed quiet for the moment. "I was normal once...until I started to gain power...I don't know what to do...I am sad, grieving, but over what, I do not know..." Goveta contemplated for a moment, mumbling and confusing in his words toward the chakra entity.

"Give in to me Uchiha..." The Kyuubi spirit spoke up after a moment. Goveta, struck back at what the Kyuubi said, stood there for a moment. The young man responded with a quiet and simple no after a moment of silence between the two. The Kyuubi obviously did not like Goveta's response.

"But can't you imagine going through that will make you feel? Being able to have the power that you seek, maybe even enough to bring...them back..." The Kyuubi spoke. Goveta knew nothing of what the Kitsune spoke of, but after a moment of the Kyuubi revealing what happened, Goveta understood everything, and was a bit more upset then.

"No one will ever know Uchiha...so come on, do what you are compelled to do. Bring sorrow to this world, and end this woman's life..." The Kyuubi spoke up, smiling as he saw Goveta's head slightly nod in agreement.

The second tail had formed already, and it was just as Goveta had let it. Looking back up at the female, Goveta smiled. "It seems like you stand no chance against me female..." Goveta laughed to himself, as he finished a hand seal in a matter of moments. "Juin Jutsu • Kai - Curse Seal Technique • Release!" Goveta spoke, as another sudden surge of his chakra appeared with the appearance of his heaven curse mark. Within moments, Goveta's body had started to reject the second curse seal state, the only thing appearing was the set of blackened wings sprouting from his back.

"Game....over...." Goveta spoke as the clouds started to darken above the battlefield, his body standing back up, as another Raikiri started to form in his right hand.

The longer she stood here, the more horrible the battle seemed to become. Her Tessen attack obviously hadn't worked, and with an ability such as that, it meant that any long-ranged attacks wouldn't work, at least with weaponry. Nonetheless, Aiuya still had ninjutsu and close-ranged weapons and Taijutsu abilities, but from the looks of things... Taijutsu wasn't going to be much of an option. As the ear-splitting howl echoed through the area, Aiuya slammed both hands over her ears to keep the noise down, slightly irritated.

However, the longer this seemed to go on, the more interesting it became. It gave Aiuya a chance to think on the spot, to come up with things on the drop of a coin... And gladly she would do that. As he harked about her being no match for him, she began to laugh. Had he no idea who she was? He must not have, for he would have brought it up before. Her crimson hair fluttered in the breeze that graced the duo, and she laughed, a sickly, piercing sound.

"And how could you possibly know of this? You've no idea who I am," she said, still chuckling in that dark tone she always had. As if bored, she twirled her Tai Chi swords around in a circle, still laughing. "I don't sincerely think it's game over yet, whoever the f*ckin hell you might be. And really I could care less, because you're just like the rest of them... All emotionally oriented and caring. What's the point of caring? People're just going to die anyways," she snapped, obviously bored by the conversation. However, as she was portraying her face and personality of boredom, she was watching. She wasn't going to let herself get caught, and that Raikiri that he held in his hand seemed even more dangerous than the first.

As instinct took over, Aiuya began to quickly leap back, leaping in no pattern whatsoever, but keeping herself moving in different directions. The only thing that was the same was her advancement backwards, and the fact that she was watching this man's every move. She had to keep on her toes at all times, and hopefully by leaping different heights, angles, and unpredictably away, she would be able to avoid anything he might throw at her. She wasn't going to play his game; she was going to play her own game. Good thing she was lucky enough not to have to look into his eyes... The distance surely made up for that. Nor would she dare, either; her eyes were more focused on the muscles of his torso and arms, in order to properly predict what he might possibly throw at her.

To add a little more to the confusion, Aiuya threw up her Tai Chi swords high into the air, and within seconds they disappeared, back into the seal that was on her arm. Cascading herself high into the air through the use of chakra for an upwards boost, she quickly flew into seals, blowing a large amount of ash into the air below her, directly towards the man. It would cloud her own vision, sure, and she somewhat expected him to use it to his advantage, but... She had her own ways of countering that. Once the ash was fully spread the way she wanted and her in a safe, faraway spot, she clicked her teeth, and the cloud itself ignited in a large explosion.

It was time now. He had waited to attack long enough, giving her the vital opportunity for her to run if need be. He had stood there, forcing more and more power into the Raikiri that soared with his power. A sudden darkened glow appearing around him and the kyuubi chakra cloak. His eyes starred forward as he watched the woman's body move.

Her body movements looked fluid. Strong enough to easily take out an unsuspecting opponent, but they were graceful as well. Combining speed and grace like that, Goveta watched carefully. She set distance between them, something that any normal combatant would do. Her eyes never crossed paths with his, although that is what she had hoped for. Her gaze always adverted at the last moment, Goveta being a bit disappointed that she had obviously known some information on the Uchiha's Kekki-Genki. Smiling, he continued to watch her as well.

Chuckling when he saw her throw her swords into the air, Goveta glanced right back down at the woman. Before he knew it, she was launched up into the sky as well. It would be a moment before a sudden cloud of ash set in upon the battlefield. Goveta's eyes stayed the same Three-Tomoe Sharingan state that they had been. He focused on the ash, and knew what was coming up next. Blinking, his eyes switched to the Byakugan for a moment. Not a long time, but long enough for him to tell what was going to happen next, and where she was. She was no longer above the cloud of ash, as she had seemed to travel some distance away. His eyes changed back instantly when he knew what was going to happen next.

"Kyuubi..." Goveta spoke again, in the spectral realm. His body was exactly as it had been out in reality. He waited for a moment for the Kyuubi's delayed response, unfortunately, it never came. "Don't make me come in there and get you!" Goveta harked louder into the etherial realm cage. He took a step forward, and a blackened chakra oozed out from beneath the cage. Smiling, Goveta walked a bit closer to the cage, with more and more blackened chakra coming forth. Before he knew it, the Uchiha warrior was standing at the gate's door, and his hand was pulling back on the gate. Smiling, he was making sure that the world was going to feel his pain....and feel his suffering...

The small clicking of her teeth seemed to echo around inside of his ears. But the moment the teeth had clicked, he laughed. The ash that had surrounded him sparked for a moment, before the rest of the area was soon sparking as well. The blanketing cloud of ash that surrounded him, soon errupted in a violent showcase of fire and explosions. He stood still, waiting for the cloud of debris to pick up.

"Rawaarrrrrrrrrrr!!!!"

The beast's call echoed out from its central point within the cloud of smoke and debris. The earth shook, the clouds grew darker, as trees began to fall over. Suddenly, a giant claw reached forth from the cloud that had hid the new beast. The black skin was reaching forth towards the woman that had been fighting Goveta earlier. Rushing out from the dust after the claw, a blackened skined Goveta rushed forth towards the girl, Raikiri in his off hand.

The beast continued to run, and run towards the girl. About 50 meters away from her, Goveta flipped around and rocketed himself up into the air. Approaching the ground again, a skeletal, fox-like body appeared over his blackened skin, a fourth and fifth tail appearing from his body. His right hand extended, the Raikiri roaring its loudest towards the girl, Goveta disappeared. He would reappear moments later behind her, the Raikiri inching its way closer and closer to her body.

All he could do was hope he could make it in time. While he knew that the girl in question was fair from innocent and she probably deserved what was now moments away from smiting her, he knew that the boy he trained with and befriended didn't deserve to bloody his hands on someone who had no clue what she had walked into. He would have to work fast; he had seconds to work. Throwing a kunai beside the two shinobi, Minato focused his chakra and warped. He knew he may not make it but he had to try. Whilst in mid-transit through the dimensions, Yondaime whipped up a powerful Rasengan to counter his friend's equally strong raiton jutsu, one that he had seen his former pupil, Hatake Kakashi, perfect but not nearly to this degree, and he then prepared to take action to save Goveta from the beast within.

Coming out of the warp right beside his friend and the girl, Minato saw that he was just in time to save them both. RASENGAN!!! Minato bellowed as he slammed his chakra sphere into the on coming Raikiri and kicking the girl away from the soon to be giant shockwave from the colliding jutsu. Quickly moving on with another Hiraishin, he finished up his combo with a special paper note against the Uchiha's forehead. Kyuubi Chakra Seal! FUUIN! he shouted again, activating the paper seal. He only prayed that it would work....

He was suprised to see Minato jump in to save the woman that was before him. He smiled, or at least what was close to a smile as both his and Minato's attacks collided together with each other. He couldn't do anything else, his power continued to surge forth and into the Raikiri that was held in his hand, driving into the non-elemental version of the Rasengan, pushing back with an equally powerful driving force behind it as well. The two attacks swirled for a moment before their energies cancelled each other out, ending the power struggle with a sudden bursting forth of energy in a whip like, swirling fashion.

Goveta stood still for a moment, his deep magenta Mangekyou Sharingan eyes staring back towards Minato's own eyes. With the sudden rushing of adrenaline and beast tendencies floating about his head, it took what little self-control Goveta had left to not take down his former mentor. He noticed him move. He noticed his body sway. His Sharingan allowed him to forsee that Minato was planning some sort of attack. But what type of attack, even Goveta could not comprehend. He could just defend himself, but even his reflexes weren't fast enough...yet. Before he could move, he felt a palm against his head. A piece of paper attaching itself to his being, and a sudden withdrawl of power beginning. The power was beginning to fade away from within his grasp, and Goveta struggled to hold onto it.

He was thrown outside of the gate. A sudden closing of the doors before him left him blinded from what was going on. The Uchiha stood in front of the door, dumbfounded as he felt and saw the blackened mass crawl back away from him into the depths. "Wh--where are you going!?!" He howled towards the demon inside the gate, only to hear no response. The hidden power within him was awakening as he stood still in front of the gate, trembling with knowing exactly what was happening. He stood still, his head facing the ground. His hands closed upon themselves, the fists gripping themselves tighter and tighter. He didn't know what to do....

"Daddy!!"

He heard the voice again. His fists grew closer and closer to his body, his finger tips digging deeper into his palms. He wanted a way out, but he had not known of anything. He couldn't speak. He couldn't move. The Uchiha warrior stood still in front of the gate, the power he longed for creeping away from him. His arms raising up, only to be flung down with tremendous force a bit later. His head flew upward into the air, sprinkles of tears tracing the ground below him. The water that laid still on the ground picked up and became violent, whipping itself around his body. "Ami!" Goveta howled into the open air. His face lowered itself towards the gate. His heart rate increased as his legs lifted themselves up slowly, one at a time, and creeped closer to the gate that held back the beast. Smiling, Goveta quickly was standing before the gate, his hand placed against the metal pole that was closest to him.

"Come on out..." Goveta chuckled, as his arm flung backwards, the gate flying off of its henge. He stood before the opening, as he saw a blackened claw extend from the blackness within the depths of the cell. It reached out for him, of which the Uchiha moved to the side, and unhinged the other gate door. "You listen to me now..." He spoke again, this time only smiling at the fact of what he was going to recieve. The fox's growls of discontent could be heard and echoed throughout the spectral realm, but they were growls of agreeance as well. The man took another step forward into the depths, and felt a more powerful surge of power envelope his body.

Unfortunately for both Minato, and possibly the female, his attempt failed. The paper burned his skin, but quickly was evaporated as Goveta now stood straight up from his previous position of being hunched over. His eyes turned into a slit version of their original form. His pupil's did not dilate, but his Mangekyou Sharingan had changed forms, accomidating the more kanine like appearance change to his eyes. He stood still, the fox tails whipping around from behind him. The skeleton of the kyubbi rested gently against his blackened form, before a sudden bursting forth of more chakra came forth from his body. He smiled, completely aware of what was going to happen. His body stayed erect, the skeleton disappearing from site. Goveta looked onward at Minato, his kanine teeth snarling towards his friend, that was now quite apparently viewed as an enemy to him.

But, that was no where near the end of Goveta's transformation. More and more power continued to pump out forth from his body. A sharp, and almost dark laugh echoed out from the depths of his voice. His body began to hunch over, his blackened skin suddenly bursting forth with black fur. His ears grew out, becoming just as long as the chakra formed ears were. His teeth grew sharper and longer, his kanine teeth extending well past the edge of his mouth. Before he could move, another four tails bursted forth from his tail bone. The nine tails that flickered around his body kicked dust up into the view of Minato and the kunoichi. He was fully transformed into the darker side of the Kyuubi beast, but retained his human size and power along with it. The Uchiha was no normal man, and it was quite obvious of his power being able to handle the nine-tailed transformation and not become overrun with the beast's power. The beast let out another roar of terror and power, before a tearful sight caught his eye.

A little girl walked forth from the dust. The beast stared back at her, expecting it to be a true mirage, but his Sharingan picked up no such thing. The girl walked carefully and quietly towards him, he outstretched hand trembling as it grew closer to his being. "Dah--daddy?" The girl mumbled out towards Goveta. He stayed still. From what he could've sworn, the girl before him was Ami. There was no way that it could be so, and it made him skeptical. He had seen her body slain before him, against her mother's fallen body. With a sudden movement, Goveta had surrounded the little girl with his body and tails, his enhanced senses checking her over. She was quite obviously the same age as Ami was. He could feel that she was four years of age, and her blood carried the same genes as his own. From the corner of his eye, he noticed Minato making a move towards him. The moment he saw, he turned and without making a move, a sudden gust of wind flew towards the man, pushing him back a few feet.

Goveta's eyes returned to the girl. Her body was tense and unaware of what was happening. His teeth drew close to her face for a moment, and ended up freightening the girl. Her shriek of fear sent a wave of adrenaline through the man's body. It was with that shriek that he realized that it truly was his daughter. He stayed still for a moment, until he figured out what his wife had done. In order to protect their daughter, she sacrificed herself and their unborn third child, using a very skilled and powerful transformation to turn him into a body that looked like Ami. A sudden tear rolled down the beast's face, the fur retracting away from the outside. His claws and teeth returned back to normal size, the lightly tanned skin returning to him. Before long, Goveta sat kneeling before his daughter, his arms wide open to her. She took a few hesitant steps towards him, but quickly lunged herself into the man's arms. Goveta knelt there with his arms wrapped around his daughter for what seemed like an eternity to him. The tears that had found their way to the surface of his face, soon trickled down his cheek and splashed gently against the dirt that was below him.

As his eyes opened back up, the sky blue eyes of his normal self shined to the world. They sparkled from the tears that had been cried. He looked up towards the sky for a moment, only to see his wife's reflection in the darkened clouds. With a smile on her face, tears down her cheek, she gave him one last kiss goodbye before she faded away from the clouds. His arms tighted against his daughter's body, as he let out a sigh of relief. After the two of them had their moment, Goveta's hand formed a few seals before a diamond-shaped marking appeared across his forehead. The diamon had a few vein like projections appear, only to disappear a few moment's later, after healing the minor burns and scratches that he had received from his transformation. He reached down and picked up his daughter from the ground and held her closely in his arms, as he prepared to speak towards the woman. "I'm sorry for what I had done to you..." He wished he had more to say to her, but he had nothing. He was unable to speak words of what he really meant. As he stood there for a moment, he gave a slight nod towards Minato and holding onto Ami tightly, he looked at her closely again. Her head nustled up against his chest, feeling the warmth of his body and the rhythmic beating of his heart, he soon felt her body go into a slumber.

Smiling, a swirling mass of leaves picked up; only to settle with him out of site. The battle...was over.

((Breaking post order FTW! Sorry Kuku-chan :-/ ))

It didn't work. Minato saw the paper seal that had be specially made for this occasion burn up into nothing against his friend's rage and might. He knew there was only one way now; he had to use it. Making several hand signs, he took a deep breath in preparation for the words he was about to say. He really didn't want to use that jutsu but at this point, everything else seemed useless in the wake of the Uchiha's might. Sorry Naruto....Kushina....Jiraiya....Kakashi....I tried to return to you all but it seems...fate caught up to me again... Forgive your foolish friend for thinking he could cheat death yet again... Minato spoke softly as a tear went down the pale cheek of his face. Shiki Fuujin - Corpse Spirit Sealing Method!!!! Minato bellowed as he focused his chakra and once again called forth the dread god Shinigami to loom behind him; eyes a glow with hunger.

Minato knew it was now or never. He made a dash straight for his old friend and prepared to let the reaper take his soul to save the soul of the young Uchiha. But suddenly, Minato stopped. There in the dust stood a little girl that Minato had guessed to be Goveta's daughter, Ami. She was alive after all! But he saw Goveta had noticed as well and he saw the beast surround the girl with his deadly tails to block any outside interruption; interruption of what he couldn't be sure. He made another dash towards the beast but suddenly the yang kyuubi sent the former hokage flying through the air and away from him completely. He was about to try again when he noticed something that shocked him completely; the Uchiha began to revert on his own! The tears of the young girl had miraculously given Goveta his reason back and he reverted to his normal appearance but somehow it was different; powerful even. It was as if his chakra took a major spike from the degradation of the mutation and now Goveta was even more powerful than he had ever been before.

Soon the young man was back to normal and he even apologized to the nukenin that he had been attacking not five minutes prior. Minato sighed with relief; the danger had been averted. Looking up to the death god behind, Minato put his arms out like a cross, ready to be sacrificed for jumping the gun and making Shinigami come out for no reason. But after a minute of waiting, Minato turned back around to find that the death god had vanished without taking his soul. Whew...well, that leaves me with even more questions but I guess I should just be satisfied for now. he said with a big sigh of relief. Noting Goveta's small nod his way, Minato returned it and quickly gathered up all of his special kunai from the battlefield and returned to the spot where he once stood before turning to the direction he had sent the girl flying out of harm's way; hopefully she had gotten away without injury. He didn't know who she was but being the kind natured man he was, he couldn't bring himself to think she deserved any kind of mortal danger just yet. Seeing his work was done there, Minato soon flashed away in a bolt of golden light, off to find his beloved, his mentor, his student, and most importantly, his son once more.

((Side Story))
He had gotten everything he needed to know. The clone of Fuu Madarame that Altair had sent to follow Goveta had done its job. What power the man had, Fuu marveled as he watched the shinobi vanish from sight. And what of the mysterious reappearance of the legendary Yellow Flash? It didn't make any sense; wasn't he sealed within Shinigami forever? So many questions, so little time between duties. But nevertheless he had to know the truth; it was that much closer to learning of his own origins. Looking at where the young kunoichi had landed, Fuu also recalled and noted the ability of the young woman as a fighter and her callous heart that she held on to bitterly. She would make a fine assassin if Lord Rondo would let her; possibly good enough for the Four Winds even. He would have to let him know. But first, he needed to report his findings to his original, so without a sound, the clone dispersed into the shadows.

((Finished))

[[ooc: Well thanks for telling meee~ I thought you were never posting -cries- And you are sneaky, Altair. Yosh, she should so be an assassin. XD]]

All the nukenin could do was sit and watch, her crimson hair fluttering behind her almost like a butterfly, dangerously long as always, as another of that lightning attack formed in the man's hand. She knew it was coming sometime soon, but she couldn't let it hit her. This was becoming a dangerous game, but even Aiuya remained unfazed, or at least, that was how it seemed. In truth, she was a bit scared on the inside, but that was to be expected, right? It was more a feeling of tension rather than being scared or fearful, because she knew as well as anyone that she could easily die here, not that it mattered to her. If she died, it wasn't a big deal. Life would go on.

To her amazement, however, that man who'd been hiding himself in the bushes nearby suddenly sprang into action, countering the oncoming lightning attack as Aiuya was bracing herself for it. That little bastard! What the hell was the point of saving her? Well, then again, to Aiuya it wasn't a big deal. She could handle it, and she was somewhat grateful... Of course, if she possibly could, she would just slaughter him later in cold blood. It was simply her nature, and that was it. It confused her, however, for why he'd protected her; there was no reason. Anybody could easily read that dark, sadistic, killer intent in her eyes. It was too prominent in her corrupted mind for anyone to ignore. She was insane, literally, though in her opinion, she was perfectly fine. She could act sane if she wanted, but when it really came down to things, she would slaughter whenever.

Then there was the sound of a little girl... And Aiuya almost smiled. Wait. Hadn't that child been a body..? She dared not look back towards the bodies for fear of being caught off-guard, but she could have sworn she'd seen that little girl lying dead on the ground. So how had she escaped? Nonetheless, if Aiuya could just get close enough to her... Yes. That would possibly work as a catalyst for what might go on. If she could use the life of the girl to perhaps protect herself as well as use it as means to kill the man, she could easily take two down in one shot.

Her plan, however, seemed foiled now, and so she made her way towards the man who was none other than the Yondaime Hokage, moving to stand behind him and perhaps use him as a meat shield for anything that might come. Shit, well, there goes that, she thought, as she deked back to the side, moving again, closer to the trees. She didn't see the defensive attack coming, originally directed at the spiky-haired blonde man she recognized as none other than the Yondaime Hokage himself, towards her as well; there was no way she'd escape that. The question was, how was the Yondaime Hokage here? Aiuya clearly remembered him dying twelve or so years ago. Aiuya had been fourteen or so at the time, a freshly graduated Genin, almost, though only for about two years or so at that point. So what the hell was he doing here?

The blast of wind caught her lighter frame quite easily, and while she tried to hold her ground, she could feel her feet being lifted from the ground. She was sent cascading backwards into a tree, hitting it hard but using her arms to at least soften the impact her head might have made. She slid down, feeling the pain of a few broken ribs, but nothing worse. For a moment she was limp, but slowly got up, violet eyes glaring at the beast that was before her. It was retracting? So the little girl must have been his daughter or something... Wow. She'd really missed out on an opportunity. Oh well, there would surely be more to come... Perhaps she could kidnap his daughter sometime later, as ransom for her two sisters. She definitely wanted those little sluts gone, because they surely didn't deserve to live. Nobody who shared her family's name deserved to live but her. Shiori and Sasai would die in cold blood, some day.

And then he apologized? What a sad, sorry man. What was the point in apologizing? It wasn't like Aiuya cared anyways. She could literally give a flying f*ck whether he cared about her life or not. She cared nothing about anyone's lives. She was a cold-blooded, b*tchy murderer, that was for sure, and whenever she was given the opportunity to kill, she would surely take it if the time was right. If only she'd had that girl in her grasp... There was no way the man would attack her with his own daughter in front of her, acting like her meat shield. There was also no way he'd dare go against her orders, at least, if he cared about the life of the little girl, because if he even went against her slightly, Aiuya would surely kill the girl. She was cold-hearted, bitter, and absolutely sadistic. Because she wouldn't just outright kill the girl, of course. She'd cause ultimate pain and suffering to her first, and let her father watch that, let him wallow in it. At the thought of it, she smiled sadistically, not noticing that the blonde man was looking at her. Such thoughts were so amazing...

She stood up, shakily, the pain getting to her a little, but she forced it off as best as she possibly could. It was a good thing when you knew how to hide your own physical pain; Aiuya was certainly not a masochist, that was for sure. She preferred to watch others in pain rather than feel pain herself, and whenever she did, it just irritated her to no end. She thought she might as well give this man a bit of a lesson, that was for sure.

"Got a f*ckin' death wish or something, you c*nt?" She spat, a glaring look in her eyes. "No point in savin' me, asshole. I can sure as hell take care of myself." Well, it was obvious now that the woman wasn't very friendly when she spoke, but anyone could easily see that sadists' look in her eyes. She took a couple steps back, retreating of course, and smiled that sick smile she always had. Moving a little faster, she leaped back into the trees, with that smile still plastered on her face, and disappeared, hopefully to get away from all of these freaks and perhaps get some peace and quiet. There was nothing wrong with that every now and then, now was there?
